Iwatsuki Joshi Park Cherry Blossom Festival

Iwatsuki is a must-see spot on the cherry blossom map, and you can also see the beautiful budding petals illuminated at night during the blooming of cherry blossoms.

-Sales of Saitama’s recommended souvenirs
-Iwatsuki sightseeing guided tours [in Joshi Park] (free of charge)

Only on Sat, March 25
-Koto (Japanese harp) performance: 4 times
-Offering of Amazake(sweet sake)  *limited quantity

Only on Sun, March 26
-Japanese drum performance: 4 times
-Nodate(open-air tea ceremony) *charged, limited quantity

Lanterns will be hung and lit up from March 17th-26th around Shobu Lake.
Light-ups: 6 PM – 9 PM*
*Schedule is subject to change depending on the blooming conditions of the flowers.
