Omiya Takigi Noh (Noh theater by firelight)

The Omiya Takigi Noh was first held in May 1982 in Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Jinja-shrine to commemorate the opening of the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen lines and to promote local culture and create a new tourism attraction. This year will mark the 43rd of the event.
*NO English commentary or simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the performance.

• April 5: Explanation of the highlights of Noh, the experience of shimai (Noh dance in plain clothes) and chanting, etc.
